Mike Muller has been working at Pondera since November 2016 as a consultant renewable energy. Mike is a committed, eager and active person fascinated by the current (inter) national development in the transition towards a cleaner and more efficient society. With his multidisciplinary background, he can be used for support with all sorts of different assignments from designing maps in ArcGIS to writing EIA’s and associated documents.
Mike has been involved a lot in offshore wind projects (Hollandse Kust Noord and Zuid). He also focuses on feasibility studies and financial models. With his Energy Science background and work experience at Rabobank, Mike hopes to be of added value to Pondera.
Studies, training & employers
Mike started with the study Natural Science & Innovation Management at Utrecht University. During this study, his interest in sustainability and new (technological) development was triggered. Because of this he decided to follow the master Energy Science. During this multidisciplinary study, Mike learned a lot about the energy sector, with courses ranging from Energy Economics to Thermodynamics and Energy Conversion methods. During his Master’s, he worked as an intern at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency where he wrote his thesis on the potential of blue energy. In addition, he did several months of internship at the Heineken brewery Zoeterwoude and he participated in the Climate-KIC summerschool program.
