Wind farm Green

In southern and eastern Flevoland, the existing solitary wind turbines and existing line arrangements are being re-powered in various subareas. In eastern Flevoland, around Biddinghuizen and Dronten, this subarea is Groen. The various initiators have joined forces in this subarea. The plan consists of one wind setup – almost all local initiators in collaboration with Windshare, the participation organisation in which all residents of the rural area can participate in the wind farm. The initiators work together in Windkoepel Groen. The wind farm consists of 90 wind turbines and after realisation, the wind turbines with approximately 300-400 MW will supply approximately 1.4 billion kWh (three quarters of Flevoland’s electricity consumption). On behalf of the initiators, Pondera drew up the EIA for the Wind Plan and subsequently the permit applications for the individual wind farms. Pondera prepared the required wind yield calculations for the SDE applications.
