Frank Schellen started at Pondera in January 2021 as a sustainable energy and spatial planning consultant. He has over 10 years of experience in spatial planning, of which the last 3 years have been more focused on sustainable energy. Frank is an enthusiastic advisor who is proactive and understands what it takes to develop a project. He sees it as a challenge to find the right balance between parties and interests to promote the progress of the development as much as possible.

 

Education and employment

Frank completed his study in Spatial Regulation and Planning at the Hogeschool Utrecht in 2009. His career started at Adviesbureau Cuijpers. In 2011 Frank joined the municipality of Veghel. He initially supervised planning procedures and the drawing up of zoning plans. After Veghel merged to form the municipality of Meierijstad, Frank worked as a policy officer at this municipality. In this role, he was responsible for managing more complex projects, including the development of a wind farm and determining policy for solar farms.
