Martijn Edink started in 2011 with Pondera as renewable energy consultant and currently holds the position as team manager Environment & Consenting. He is experienced in matters of environmental management, sustainable energy and spatial planning. This makes Martijn an asset in dealing with various facets of environmental and sustainable energy issues. Within Pondera, he works primarily on planning in its initial stages, spatial planning procedures and permits. His tasks consist specifically of drafting and implementing feasibility and location studies, compiling environmental impact reports and supervising procedures including environmental assessments and permits. Martijn possesses additional experience in the permit management of wind energy projects. He is also one of Pondera’s GIS specialists and is involved in creating photographic visualisations. Martijn is a consistently dedicated adviser. He has a great sense of responsibility for seeing that projects proceed smoothly, as well as an eye for detail. His substantive expertise, combined with the ability to communicate projects visually to others, enable Martijn to provide accurate recommendations to his clients.

 

Education, training and previous employers

After earning a degree in Commercial Economics, Martijn went on to complete a Master’s in Environmental and Social sciences at Radboud University Nijmegen. Before starting work at Pondera in 2011, Martijn gained experience from courses including the ‘Learning for Sustainable Development’ programme at SenterNovem (Dutch Enterprise Agency).
