Building good relationships with customers and colleagues is always a real pleasure. Pondera has had the honour of carrying out more than 25 projects both for and with Enexis, which we are very proud of. The energy transition requires major expansions of the electricity grid which need to be implemented in the coming years. In order to achieve this, Enexis (as grid operator) will lay countless new cable routes, and build many new transmission substations and transformer stations . All these projects require surveys, permits and consents. Pondera is assisting Enexis in preparing and applying for such permits including zoning plans, environmental permits and nature permits. We are also working together with Enexis to prepare for the new environment act on 1 January 2024, by already environment act ‘proofing’ procedures and preparations.
As part of this process, Pondera is working closely with Enexis’ ground team and electrical engineers. By entering into a new framework agreement from the 1st of May 2023, we will continue this valuable cooperation in the service of the energy network and the energy transition for the next four years.
