If during the operational period, it appears that one or more wind turbines do not function according to factory specifications and the manufacturer requires additional evidence for this, a decision may be made to carry out a power curve verification.
This can be done by temporary placement of one of our LiDARs at the wind turbine(s) in question. If the full IEC61400-12 campaign is needed, a short met mast (up to lower height) can be added.
The analysis of wind data and simultaneous production data is reported by Pondera and can be used to substantiate a warranty claim. Upon request, we can provide through our network, a complete solution in conjunction with MEASNET-seal of approval.
