Brent Elemans has been working at Pondera since the beginning of 2019 as a contract manager for the tendering and realization of renewable energy projects. With both a technical and a management background, he speaks the language of the specialists and that of the managers. This means that he can quickly switch between content and process when realizing projects.

Brent has gained extensive experience with UAV-GC contracts for ICT and construction projects during the tendering and realization phase at various clients. For example, he was involved in the contract management of the Noord-Zuid metro line in Amsterdam during the last years of its realization. Because Brent intended to use his skills for the energy transition in the Netherlands and abroad, he decided in 2019 to continue his career at Pondera. In recent years, he has worked as a contract manager for many energy projects, including Windpark Staphorst, Windpark Strekdammen, Windpark Duiven, Windpark Oeverwind and Zonnepark Molenbosch.

In addition to working for projects in the Netherlands, Brent is also actively involved in Pondera’s activities in Indonesia. Since 2016, Pondera has been exploring opportunities there to contribute to the energy transition and to apply Dutch knowledge and experience. Since the end of 2020, Brent has settled in Jakarta to focus on both Indonesian and Dutch projects from there. Pondera’s project portfolio in Indonesia has expanded significantly in recent years with onshore and offshore wind, floating solar and green hydrogen projects, both from in-house development and studies for clients. Meanwhile, the Pondera team in Indonesia consists of 8 people, led by Brent as Country Director.

Characterizing of Brent is that he is always looking for collaboration in the workplace and within projects. With colleagues, clients, and suppliers. He quickly understands which interests are involved and is able to streamline these interests in order to achieve joint goals
