Timon Schellekens joined Pondera as a renewable energy consultant in March 2023. With his positive inquisitive attitude and broad interests, he quickly gets to grips with projects. Timon combines spatial projects, such as writing environmental impact assessments and spatial procedures, with technical work such as GIS analyses and nitrogen calculations. He believes it is essential to contribute to the energy transition and is therefore highly motivated to deliver quality for the projects he works on.
Education and previous employers
In 2017, Timon started a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Life Sciences at Radboud University in Nijmegen. He followed this up in 2020 with a master’s degree in Molecular Sciences, specialising in Medicinal Chemistry, which he completed in 2022. During these studies, he took several courses on sustainability and climate which formed the basis of his interest in renewable energy, sustainability targets and CO2 calculations. After completing his studies, Timon wanted to apply this newly acquired knowledge about the climate in society, which is what brought him to Pondera.
