Mariëlle de Sain has over 20 years of experience in the area of renewable energy and physical environment. Her projects are characterised by the consideration and integration of various functions in urban and rural areas, port and industrial areas and the link with infrastructure and energy grids. As strategic consultant and project manager at Pondera, Mariëlle is responsible for projects involving sustainable energy and living conditions. These projects often take the form of feasibility studies, environmental assessments, environmental impact assessments and environmental management. Current and future legislation is applied to the projects and incorporated into her recommendations. Mariëlle often takes on the role of matchmaker in her projects: she links content with the political/administrative context and brings together the various parties and different interests at play. Communication, enthusiasm and custom solutions are the key words in her work.
