Education and employers

Jeroen Meisters completed his Civil Engineering course in 1982 and has also completed the Culture Engineering and Landscape Design course of the Unie van Waterschappen. A growing awareness of soil contamination led Jeroen to work at IWACO in Rotterdam. In 1990, Jeroen began working as a manager at a soil remediation contracting company, from where he started an independent environmental consultancy together with the contractor and a business partner. The contractor was bought out in 1998 and the consultancy office had offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. In 2008, 51% of their business was merged with RSK in England and the focus for Jeroen shifted more and more to the Middle East (Iraq and UAE). Due to the sudden death of his business partner in 2014, Jeroen returned to the Netherlands and took over the management and expansion of RSK Netherlands. In addition, Jeroen is Program Manager for one of the largest oil and gas customers of the RSK Group and represents RSKwithin Europe, the former Eastern bloc, Turkey and England.
