The construction of the Strekdammen wind farm is progressing well. Pondera and Rebel are working to deliver two wind turbines in the Eemshaven estuary with a total capacity of 11 MW. The American firm GE is delivering turbines made especially for these brackish conditions. Contractors VolkerWind and Alsema are responsible for the construction. The turbines are expected to be commissioned in mid-2022.

In this series of vlogs, we would like to show you the entire pathway from the start of construction to delivery.
