Dennis Geutjes joined Pondera in February 2023 and works as Engineer Storage and Conversion consultant in the CBE team. He is a technically proficient systems thinker who has a constant awareness of the broader picture. Dennis is passionate about putting his knowledge and experience to work for a better world and has a wide interest in the field of renewable energy. His multidisciplinary background makes him a versatile member of the team. Alongside this he has extensive expertise in hydrogen chains. Dennis makes connections easily and combined with his open mind and eye for detail, he quickly gets to the heart of complex challenges. In this process, he continuously keeps people, the environment and the business case firmly in mind.
Education and previous employers
After completing his bachelor’s, Dennis gained over a year of experience as a business developer at Strukton Worksphere, where he was mainly involved in the roll-out of innovative digital services. During his master’s degree in Complex Systems Engineering & Management, he deepened his understanding of the energy sector. With a systems-oriented approach, he focused on a wide range of topics such as energy network balancing, technical analysis, stakeholder analysis, market mechanisms and business case preparation. After completing his master’s in 2021, Dennis started working as a freelancer and has carried out various energy-related projects for companies such as Gasunie, RWE, SBM Offshore and Toyota.
