Graeme has been involved in the renewable industry for the last 14 years predominantly within procurement and contract management roles from involvement in a start-up wave energy project through to offshore wind, more recently focussing on the negotiation and execution of Turbine Supply and Installation Vessel Agreements. This followed on from a 20 year career in commercial aviation and industrial engineering.

He was Senior Contract Manager for the Gemini offshore wind park turbine package throughout construction and managed the tendering and execution for balance of plant Operations and Maintenance contracts for both Gemini and Deutsche Buch projects. Currently he is part of the commercial team leading Turbine  and Vessel supply contracts for the NnG offshore wind park.

Education and previous employers

Grame has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a post graduate diploma in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. In a project management and procurement role he started his career with British Aerospace, latterly moving to a commercial management role for its customer and product support business. Following this he worked as a supply chain manager for the Weir Group within its industrial pumps division and as sub-contract manager for Thales Optronics, moving on to become contracts manager for Aquamarine Power in 2010. Since 2014 he has been in a senior contract management role in the offshore wind industry for Northland Power (Gemini & Deutsche Bucht projects) and EDF (NnG project).
