Drentse Monden-Oostermoer Wind farm

A group of farmers, united in the Stichting Duurzame Energie Exloërmond, Windpark Oostermoer BV and Raedthuys Windenergie BV (Pure Energie,) have joined forces to jointly develop a large-scale wind farm in the Drenthe Veenkoloniën. Pondera was asked to supervise the procedures for the initiative and to manage the environmental impact assessment for the national integration plan, including the permits. For this, Pondera prepared the environmental impact report, supervised meetings, conducted investigations and supervised external experts for numerous substantive investigations. The Drentse Monden and Oostermoer wind farm will be located in the northern part of the Drentse Veenkoloniën, in the municipalities of Borger-Odoorn and Aa en Hunze. The 45 wind turbines will be placed in six line configurations, spread over more than 50 square kilometres in the area of 2e Exloërmond, Nieuw-Buinen, Drouwenermond and Gasselternijveen. With a hub height of 145 metres and a rotor diameter of 131 metres, the wind turbines tip height is more than 210 metres. Ponderas knowledge and experience in the field of permits is actively utilised during the contracting, so that the tasks and responsibilities of the various contractors and the turbine supplier are secured in the signed/agreed contracts. Furthermore, during the construction phase of the wind farm, Pondera ensures hat the permit regulations are properly followed by the contractors, the turbine supplier and the initiators. In addition, Pondera offers support with regard to the settlement of damage caused by planning, the supervision of electrical work (site manager for electrical works) and the construction of fibre optic networks, electricity meters and ICT matters (package manager for ICT & Auxiliaries).
