Wind farm Reusel

Pondera advises the High Tech Agro Campus Association (VHTAC) from the early initiative to the final permits for 11 wind turbines of approx. 4.5 MW south of Reusel and near the Belgian border. The VHTAC only consists of members who live near the wind farm. It is a completely local project and is therefore fully locally owned. The final permits for the 11 wind turbines have recently been issued. What is special about the wind farm is that three of the wind turbines are located in the (administrative) Nature Network Brabant (NNB). A few agricultural plots were re-designated for nature use within the NNB. In close cooperation with the province, a strong alternative has been developed for the layout of this area, creating space for both wind energy and nature.
