Windfarm Zeewolde

Zeewolde development association wants to develop a wind farm of approximately 100 wind turbines with associated civil and electrical facilities in the province of Flevoland. There are currently 220 wind turbines on the outskirts of the municipality of Zeewolde. The remediation of these wind turbines is part of the project. Zeewolde wind farm falls under the National Coordination Scheme. Pondera guided the EIA procedure, prepared the scope and detail level memorandum and the environmental impact assessment (EIA). For most of the studies, Pondera has the expertise in-house, and for nature and landscape, we collaborated with subcontractors. Pondera also provided support in the appeal procedure (Council of State).
