Jeroen Buis – Renewable Energy Consultant

Jeroen has been working at Pondera since August 2024 as a Renewable Energy Consultant within the team Environment & Spatial Planning. With a background in policy and behavioral economics, Jeroen has immersed himself in the energy transition during his studies. He has done an internship at the Sociaal-Economische Raad, where he worked on various environmental and sustainability themes. “I consider it a great challenge to use my knowledge at Pondera and to contribute to a sustainable future together with my colleagues!”

Casper Hogendoorn - Financial Advisor Renewable Energy

Casper joined Pondera in July 2024 as a Financial Advisor in the CBE team, specializing in the financing of renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and storage. With extensive experience in sustainable energy finance, he focuses on creating tailored solutions that align with client needs, aiming to make a positive impact through innovative projects. “I look forward to supporting our clients in overcoming the challenges associated with renewable energy projects.”

Yuanita Budiman - Renewable Energy Consultant Indonesia 

Yuanita joined Pondera in September 2024 as a renewable energy consultant in Indonesia. She holds a background in chemical engineering and possesses experience in conducting techno-economic analyses, as well as an experience in solar photovoltaic project development. Yuanita is eager to contribute to accelerating the energy transition in Indonesia. “I am really excited to learn from Pondera’s diverse expertise and to contribute to the energy transition in the region.”

Melanie Kemmeren – Renewable Energy Consultant

In 2023, Melanie completed her degree in Global Business and Sustainability in Rotterdam, and immediately knew she wanted to contribute to the energy transition. She fits in perfectly with the team, where she can work with like-minded colleagues and build a more sustainable future. “I am eager to expand my knowledge in this field and am very excited to join Pondera as junior consultant!”.

Jannis Langer - Energy System Specialist

Jannis started at Pondera in October 2024, as an Energy System Specialist. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and Sustainable Energy, Jannis worked on innovative projects for decarbonization and completed his PhD on Indonesia's energy transition. “I am excited to start my new job and can't wait to explore exciting projects together with my colleagues and clients!”

Matilde Plácido - Energy System Specialist

Originally from Portugal, Matilde recently completed her Master’s in electrical and computer engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, after conducting her thesis at Utrecht University on the Iberian Energy System. She is deeply passionate about the energy transition and has a keen interest in energy system modeling. “I'm really looking forward to working on exciting projects and make my contribution to the energy transition where I can!”

Stijn Tettero - Marketing Communication Manager

Stijn is a multi-talented communication expert with experience in the magazine industry, journalism, (online) media and television. He has experience as editor-in-chief of a lifestyle magazine and as a communication advisor in housing. “My motivation is to leave the world a little better than it is. At Pondera, I can contribute to a healthier world in the field of marketing and communication. The energy transition is full of challenges, where the right communication is essential. I am happy to work on that!”

Sophie Broekers - Energy System Specialist

Sophie studied Applied Physics at TU Eindhoven, where she focused on "Exploring the Impact of Innovation Potential on Future Energy Mix." This experience ignited her passion for the green energy sector. She did her Master’s degree at TU Delft, specializing in Energy within Applied Physics. “I am eager to contribute to new projects with my colleagues and can’t wait to get started!”

Jorn Donders - Financial Advisor Renewable Energy

Jorn started at Pondera as a Financial Advisor for Sustainable Energy in the CBE team in August 2024. Jorn spent his student years in Nijmegen and Tilburg, where he studied Finance. He feels strongly involved in playing a role in the energy transition. “I am excited to be part of Pondera's passionate professionals and look forward to working on great future projects together!”
