On 26 March 2025, the State Council ruled on the decisions of Windpark Agro-Wind Reusel. The Administrative Law Division decided that the Wnb permit and the Wnb exemption are irreversible (final). This marks an important step for the further development of the project.

Additional requirements for Omgevingsvergunning

For the Environmental Permit, the Administrative Law Division ruled that a number of additional regulations must be included. These regulations are intended to ensure that the agreements made on quality improvement are actually applied. The Division set a deadline of 20 weeks for this in the preliminary ruling.

About wind farm Agro-Wind Reusel

Wind farm Agro-Wind Reusel is a project of an association of entrepreneurs and local residents who are jointly developing 11 wind turbines south of Reusel. Pondera supported the initiators in the preparation of the environmental impact report and permit applications, and provided several substantive studies for this. In addition, Pondera provided substantive support in preparing the case for the hearing at the Council of State and also had the opportunity to make substantive contributions during the hearing. 

Positive preliminary ruling

Although some steps still need to be taken, Pondera congratulates the initiators on this positive preliminary ruling. This marks an important milestone in the realisation of Windpark Agro-Wind Reusel and contributes to increasing the sustainability of the region.
