As experienced business developer, Bastiaan is completely at home at Pondera. Connecting people with projects and opportunities suits him perfectly. Researching new opportunities for our clients is certainly his passion, as is developing projects. We are in the middle of the important energy transition! Bastiaan has been working in wind energy since 2013 with experience in the project and commercial field. Together with various partners he realised the first commercial project for producing green hydrogen with a wind turbine.
Education and employers
Bastiaan studied business economics in Belgium, where he grew up. Initially, he started in the IT industry on a commercial and management level. In 2013 he made the switch to the wind industry, where he worked as a commercial director at Windbrokers mainly in repowering projects, both in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2016, Bastiaan worked at Lagerwey as a sales manager for projects in Belgium and the Netherlands, then for Lagerwey / Enercon where he was mainly active at trade fairs abroad and in the hydrogen industry.
