Jaehee began her career as an advisor with the Dutch embassy in South Korea in 2014, in connection with the Partners for International Business (PIB) programme in the wind energy. She guided Dutch businesses in their initial entry into the South Korean market, helping them strengthen the international competitive position of their organisation. In addition, in 2013 she worked as a research intern at the Dutch Energy Research Centre (ECN), where her work focused on modelling O&M expenditures for offshore wind. Currently, Jaehee conducts market research and engaged in several offshore wind projects in Korea for Pondera Consult. Especially, she involved in Strategic advice O&M for offshore wind farm of Korea Offshore Wind Power and Owner’s Engineering for offshore wind farm of Jeju Hanlim Offshore Wind Project etc. She will play a valuable role in Pondera’s expansion within the South Korean market.
Education, training and previous employers
Jaehee earned a Master’s degree in Wind Energy Engineering from Jeju National University in South Korea in 2014 and continue her Ph. D. program and the field of research is government policy for the development of offshore wind energy. She worked at the Dutch embassy in South Korea for three years as a project officer for wind energy. Jaehee has been employed by Pondera since early 2016.
