Stefan Flanderijn is an engineer in sustainable energy technology who focuses on the technical aspects of the projects at Pondera. As an acoustics and external safety specialist, he mainly occupies himself with modelling and calculating wind turbines’ sound and flicker shadows. He also works on external safety studies and Wind Resource Assessments. Thanks to his multidisciplinary and technical background he is able to solve complex problems in an efficient way. He is an open and enthusiastic person who is always willing to help his colleagues out whenever neccesary. Stefan hopes to contribute to a more sustainable energy supply through his work at Pondera.

 

Education, training and previous employers

After completing his broad technical Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Technology at the University of Twente, Stefan completed the Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology in 2016. Within this training, Stefan has specialized in modeling sustainable processes, with a focus on the energy from biomass. Stefan has been working at Pondera since 2017.
