Timo van Arkel started working at Pondera in December 2023 as a Energy Systems Engineer as part of the team Data-analysis & Modelling. With his background in innovation and technology, Timo is working on current sustainability issues. He specializes in external safety and cast shadow analyses. Timo is driven to contribute to a sustainable future with his work at Pondera.
Education
Timo obtained a bachelor’s degree in natural science and innovation management at Utrecht University. He mainly focused on energy and transport. During this study, he worked on several innovation and consultancy projects. Timo wrote his bachelor thesis on the possibilities of vehicle-to-grid charging in the Netherlands. Based on his broad interest in sustainability and technology, Timo subsequently followed the master’s program in Innovation Sciences. Timo wrote his master thesis on the application and use of sustainable fuels within the aviation sector.
